Why work with MESL
We build and encourage strong partnerships
Partnership is central to our approach, values and philosophy. We work in partnership with the NHS, independent health to ensure our service is demand led, is complimentary and provides opportunities not a threat to clinicians. We recognise that, ultimately, it’s people, attitude and culture that make the difference. So, when all key criteria are met, we know that people would like to work with a partner with which they can build a relationship based on trust, collaboration and understanding.
With combined expertise and experience of delivering over £2billion of healthcare projects we bring together vast knowledge of working in partnership with the NHS, providing key support and services together with in depth knowledge and understanding to ensure successful project development, implementation and management. We have successfully delivered operational centres, gaining reputation and experience.
Value for money
We strive to provide excellent value, delivering better more effective and efficient services. Being independent from equipment manufacturers and suppliers we are well positioned to give informed and impartial procurement and financing advice and work on open book basis to achieve value for money and long term deliverability of the solution. We deliver services at NHS tariff or below and against the costs of alternative treatments, this offers significant cost efficiencies.
Innovative funding solutions
We are able to offer innovative funding solutions including minimising the need for scare public capital and providing off balance sheet solutions. We have extensive access to equity and funding for our projects from internal parent companies.
Through our partnership models a number of key risks are transferred including equipment availability, uptime and reliability; cost of installing and commissioning, delivering on time and budget and project financing. We can also provide total risk transfer, with payment per treatment with only exclusivity to treat patients at a fixed agreed price (at NHS tariff or below) with no requirement for guarantee of patient volumes.
